I grew up in Maryland and started doing improv with the Baltimore Improv Group in 2007, a theater where I eventually became the Executive and Artistic Director. In 2009, I moved to Chicago to pursue acting, writing, and comedy.
As a writer, I’ve written plays, screenplays, pilots, sketch shows, and satirical fiction (see my writing page here) and as an actor I’ve performed at The Artistic Home, The Annoyance Theatre, and many improv venues around the city.
As an actor, I’ve done commercials, web series, and short films and sketches ,as well as performing improv with several Chicago groups. I studied improv and acting at the Annoyance Theatre, iO, Second City, and The Artistic Home.
Here are some of the things I’ve been working on lately:
Words Fail Me, a weird funny web series from Chicago.
The Worst Draft podcast, which I co-host with my brother. We interview writers and read their painfully embarrassing early work.
A Big Whore in a Small Town, a Western comedy that will be performed at The Annoyance Theatre in January 2014.
